Vitamin C
Also called ascorbic acid
Vitamin
- In 6 capsules
- 1000 mg
- Source form
- ascorbic acid
An essential water soluble vitamin, used here in its plain ascorbic acid form.
It sits in the shared nutrient base that both formulas are built on.
Vitamin C is not stored well by the body, so intake is a daily matter rather than a one off.
Vitamin E
Also called d-alpha tocopherol succinate, tocopherol
Vitamin
- In 6 capsules
- 100 mg
- Source form
- d-alpha tocopherol succinate
A fat soluble vitamin, used here as d-alpha tocopherol succinate rather than a synthetic dl form. The manufacturer records the 100 mg as 149.26 IU.
Part of the shared base in both formulas, alongside vitamin C.
Vitamin E is fat soluble, so it behaves differently to vitamin C and is taken in much smaller amounts.
Magnesium
Also called magnesium glycinate, magnesium bisglycinate
Mineral
- In 6 capsules
- 200 mg
- Source form
- magnesium glycinate
An essential mineral involved in a wide range of enzymatic reactions, supplied here as magnesium glycinate.
Form matters with magnesium, so the glycinate form and the amount are both published rather than just the word magnesium.
Magnesium takes part in normal muscle function and normal energy metabolism.
N-acetyl-L-cysteine
Also called NAC, acetylcysteine, cysteine
Amino acid
- In 6 capsules
- 600 mg
- Source form
- N-acetyl-L-cysteine

Botanical
- In 6 capsules
- 500 mg
- Source form
- Zingiber officinale root powder
Dried root powder from Zingiber officinale, the same plant used in cooking.
The only botanical in either formula. It is used as whole root powder, not a standardised extract.
Acetyl-L-carnitine

Amino acid
- In 6 capsules
- 500 mg
